Week 3, Thing 7

I would love to be able to share this site with students but I think our firewall may prevent this from happening. I would definitely like to have my students start to blog their book reports and share them with other students. Students love to use new technology and I'm hoping that I will find even more ideas that I can share with them in this course.

Week 3, Thing 6

This is the view from our deck at Smith Mountain Lake in Virgina. I will use this photo as my refuge when the times get hectic and I need peace and tranquility!

I was very impressed with Flickr. This is the first time I've ever used a photo sharing site. Their collection of pictures were out of this world and I even found pictures of my hometown in their database. It did take me awhile to get my own photo to upload but I viewed the problem as a challenge and perserved.

Week 2

Learning new technology is not always easy for me especially in a setting where I'm doing it on my own and not in the traditional setting with the instructor in front of me and colleagues surrounding me with support. I tend to panic and need to step back. This should be a real challenge for me and after reading the 7 1/2 Habits that is exactly how I should all problems. Hang on for the ride!!
